Interests/Hobbies: Cheering for Wisconsin football, playing tennis and basketball, eating pizza and ice-cream, and traveling with friends and family

Why did you choose Brown? I chose Brown because of the people, camaraderie,  high trauma volume, resident centric training, and well rounded nature of the program. Also, as someone who is interested in a career in academics, the unique 6^th year of training provides a one-year guaranteed academic position that provides the space to learn how to become an effective educator, understand one's practice type, and learn how to be an attending physician in a familiar environment. 

What do you like about Providence/Rhode Island? Has big city amenities with a small-town feel. A great city to explore with everything within a 10-minute drive. Great food, breweries, beaches, hikes, and people.

What are your goals for the future? To be an academic orthopedic surgeon surrounded by friends and family (and dogs)!
