Logan grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. He attended medical school and earned a Masters of Public Health at the Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his residency at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.
