Why did you choose Brown? I chose Brown for a multitude of reasons. I felt that there was a strong culture of success and real connection between faculty and residents. I believe that you get the opportunity to experience all environments of orthopedic care from the large academic institution at Rhode Island Hospital to the community hospital at Miriam as well as private surgical centers and outpatient offices. Brown gives you the opportunity to become involved in research and academic work immediately and allows you to become a skilled surgeon and proficient in all aspects of orthopedic care. Plus, the sixth year trauma fellowship gives added, unrivaled clinical and operating room experience. Brown's location in Providence and the Northeast was a nice bonus, too.
What do you like about Providence/Rhode Island? Having a great city to explore with incredible food/drinks, beaches, and entertainment.
What are your goals for the future? To have a house in Nantucket
