Why did you choose Brown? I had a great time on my away rotation at Brown. The strong resident camaraderie, diverse surgical cases, and abundant trauma volume all attracted me to the program. These characteristics combined with the sense of community I felt among the residents, attendings, and other orthopedic care providers made Brown an easy choice.
What do you like about Providence/Rhode Island? Providence is a very well-rounded city. There are plenty of opportunities to explore new restaurants as well as having great access to many outdoor activities. Additionally, with its close proximity to my loved ones in New England, I thought it was a great place to train.
What are your goals for the future: I am looking forward to being a technically skilled and patient-centered surgeon, while contributing to the advancement of orthopedic technology and care. I additionally look forward to continuing to mentor and help those seeking a career in orthopedics and medicine.
