Why did you choose Brown? Being a home student, I saw early on how deeply the residents cared for each other, and how the attendings supported the residents both academically and personally. When it came time to make my rank list, I knew that Brown would be the program that would push me to excel and become a great surgeon, alongside great people.
What do you like about Providence/Rhode Island? I love that I can live in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood while also being walking distance from fabulous restaurants and bars. The sense of community here is really nice while not being too small.
What are your goals for the future? I’ve loved mentoring younger students, so probably Academic Orthopaedics!
