Why did you choose Brown? I loved seeing the camraderie among residents during my sub-i rotation. Brown had everything I was looking for in a program: high-volume training, opportunities to stay involved in research, and exposure to a combination of academic, community, and private practice models.

What do you like about Providence/Rhode Island? Proximity to both my family and the beach! It’s a relatively affordable city for New England and easy to get around. There are a lot of great restaurants within driving distance.

What are your goals for the future: I’d love to become an academic surgeon and stay involved in medical education and mentorship.
