Why did you choose Brown? I had an excellent experience as a rotating fourth year medical student at Brown. The residents with whom I worked were exceptional role models and teachers, and they appeared both happy and exceptionally well trained. I also felt welcomed into the amazing community that exists within the residency program. Finally, I was drawn in by the strong Trauma experience that permeates all 5 years of the program as well as the well-balanced, high complexity and high volume Adult Reconstruction experience.
What do you like about Providence/Rhode Island? Providence and Rhode Island in general has been an excellent place to live during residency. There is more to do here that you will ever have time to see and experience. Highlights include the amazing restaurant and nightlife scene in Providence that parallels that of a much larger city. There are many great outdoor spaces and recreational activities to do throughout Rhode Island year round. The cost of living is relatively low and getting around Rhode Island for either work or leisure is very easy.
What are your goals for the future? Adult Reconstruction fellowship training
