The Department of Orthopaedics welcomed Dr. Anthony Scaduto as the Silver Visiting Professor for the 2026 Caroll M. Silver, MD Lecture, held Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at The Warren Alpert Medical School. Dr. Scaduto is the Charles LeRoy Lowman Professor of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Orthopaedic Institute for Children and Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and Executive Vice Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

 

Dr. Scaduto presented “Beyond Borders: Every Surgeon Can Build & Fund Something That Matters” to orthopaedic faculty, residents, fellows, and medical students. His presentation offered an engaging perspective on the opportunities surgeons have to build meaningful initiatives and make a lasting impact.
