2025 Danforth Oration

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Dr. MaCalus Hogan delivered the 62nd Danforth Oration. Dr. Hogan, the David Silver Professor and Chair at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine–UPMC, presented at The Warren Alpert Medical School to an audience of faculty, residents, fellows, and research staff.

His presentations, titled "Impactful Leadership: One Orthopaedic Surgeon Scientist’s Journey" and "The Evolving Bioengineering Approach to Foot and Ankle Surgery," offered valuable insights into both leadership in academic medicine and innovations in orthopaedic care.

The event also featured project presentations from the five Orthopaedic Trauma fellows, highlighting their research and contributions to the field.
