On Thursday, March 23, 2023, the Department of Orthopedics held a reception honoring Dr. Christopher Born for all of his hard work since arriving at Brown in 2005. Dr. Born was the Director of the Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship from 2005 to 2018, training 78 Trauma fellows. In 2018 he transitioned to the role of Medical Director of University Orthopedics’ OrthoDirect, and is retiring from this role but plans to continue with his invaluable research.
